Dana - This carnival was fabulous .. what a great idea to make it a "quiz".
Thanks for posting this..
I was just thinking.. have you actually seen the books put out by the Center for Civic Education? I used them for a short time.. but I was really put off by their later chapters which promote globalism and global citizenship. I know EdWatch has written much about it.

No...I've heard of them, but haven't seen them. At the moment, we have a little textbook for second graders I use to organize what we are teaching and make sure my daughter understands the "story" behind our history. Then we mostly read excerpts of primary source documents.
I'll take a look at them later...I have a bit on becoming a "global citizen," particularly what Benjamin Rush and Noah Webster thought on the topic.
Very clever way in which to present this forum. Thank You for your efforts. *(also, Happy Mother's Day)
Thanks! Sad thing is, this looks easy enough, but it took me more time than any of the others!
Hey! I just noticed that one of my posts is in there. Thanks!
Sorry...I actually have a couple editor's choices, but as I opened all the links at the same time, I forgot which were which!
Is that against carnival etiquette? Hope it isn't too egregious!
I think it is fine to do that and I didn't mind at all.
Maybe that's because I am more than happy to have the traffic, since I just moved to a new blog.
